Steward's Report
Crackerjack Scot and Mr. Daver were slow to begin.
Jitterbug Witch and Maximum Capers collided soon after the start. Mr. Daver crossed to the outside soon after the start causing Aston Malibu, Jitterbug Witch, Maximum Capers and Rim Of Fire to collided; checking Aston Malibu, severely checking Maximum Capers. Uno Hostile crossed to the rail soon after the start. Mr. Daver and Rim Of Fire collided at the 250m mark. My Girl Lilly crossed in and collided with Crackerjack Scot at the 100m mark. Crackerjack Scot galloped on Uno Hostile at the 50m mark. My Girl Lilly marred Uno Hostile approaching the winning post severely checking Uno Hostile.
Uno Hostile underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right shoulder muscle and the right groin. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Aston Malibu underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Abraham Formosa, the representative of Aston Malibu and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start.
My Girl Lilly underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Raymond Gatt, the representative of My Girl Lilly regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) My Girl Lilly was charged with marring. Mr. Gatt pleaded guilty to the charge, My Girl Lilly is suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
