Pursuant to GAR 104 (7) Steward Miss Demi Barber did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Fun Time Mikado, Bernmar Junior and Wild Bandit collided at the 250m mark checking Bernmar Junior. Fun Time Mikado and Bernmar Junior collided approaching the 250m mark checking Bernmar Junior and Ardmona Miss. Bernmar Junior and Ardmona Miss collided at the 200m mark. Shifty, Tex Kingdom and Worthy Prince collided approaching the 100m mark and again at the 100m mark checking all three greyhounds. Zipping Cisco and Worthy Prince collided at the 50m mark. Tex Kingdom and Wild Bandit collided at the 50m mark checking both greyhounds. Bernmar Junior crossed to the outside at 50m mark and marred Zipping Cisco, checking Zipping Cisco and Worthy Prince. Ardmona Miss and Fun Time Mikado collided approaching the winning post.
Bernmar Junior underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Peter Borradale, the trainer of Bernmar Junior regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 50m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Bernmar Junior was charged with marring. Mr. Borradale pleaded guilty to the charge, Bernmar Junior is suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.
