Winslow Lodge was slow to begin.
I'm Fuller crossed to the running rail soon after the start, checking Fried White Bait, Flying Solo and Heart Beats True. Flying Solo, Fried White Bait and Winslow Lodge collided on the first turn, checking all three greyhounds. I'm Fuller galloped on the heels of Simmo Gogolac on the first turn. Fried White Bait checked off Flying Solo on the home turn. Heart Beats True and Winslow Lodge collided entering the home straight, checking Heart Beats True.
Flying Solo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
