Steward's Report
In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 25.8kg degrees and the kennel temperature was 19 degrees.
A pre-race sample was taken from Caveman Yap.
Cullquin Bronn was slow to begin. Dundee Amber and Caveman Yap were quick to begin. Berringa Blue checked off You Sunshine on the first turn. Berringa Blue checked off You Sunshine on the second turn checking both greyhounds causing Berringa Blue, She's Bees Knees and Cullquin Bronn to collided.
She's Bees Knees underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left fore paw. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.
