Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Lektra Bear. Southern Meteor and Brindle Delight collided soon after the start. Southern Meteor, Bridle Delight, Ragged Warrior and Tekidanto collided approaching the first turn. Brindle Delight, Dundee Vulcan and Ragged Warrior collided on the first turn checking Ragged Warrior and causing Ragged Warrior, Smoke And Embers and Tekidanto to collide. Brindle Delight and Dundee Vulcan collided approaching the home turn checking Brindle Delight. Tekidanto and Ragged Warrior collided approaching the home turn checking Ragged Warrior. Brindle Delight checked off Tekidanto in the home straight.
Ragged Warrior underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left wrist and abrasion to the under eye area. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
