Steward's Report
Ms. J. Worsfold failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Step Aside for racing. Ms. Worsfold was issued a warning pursuant to GAR 46 (2)
Dyna Carl was slow to begin. Janray Lucky One, Stacey Bott, Winlock Jetty and Step Aside collided on the first turn checking Step Aside. Silver Compass and Jetta's Shout collided entering the back straight checking Silver Compass causing Silver Compass and Stacey Bott to collide. Winlock Jetty faltered in the back straight. Janray Lucky One and Silver Compass collided in the back straight. Secret Thoughts, Jetta's Shout and Silver Compass collided on the second turn. Dyna Carl checked off Jetta's Shout approaching the home turn.
Winlock Jetty underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right monkey muscle and and left sesamoid. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Stacey Bott, winner of the event.
