In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 25.8kg degrees and the kennel temperature was 19 degrees.

Cullquin Bronn was slow to begin. Dundee Amber and Caveman Yap were quick to begin. Berringa Blue checked off You Sunshine on the first turn. Berringa Blue checked off You Sunshine on the second turn checking both greyhounds causing Berringa Blue, She's Bees Knees and Cullquin Bronn to collided.

She's Bees Knees underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left fore paw. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.

Good Mate Rusty and Have A Roadie collided soon after the start. David's Way and Spot On Dot collided approaching the first turn checking Spot On Dot. David's Way and Good Mate Rusty collided on the first turn checking Good Mate Rust and causing Good Mate Rusty and Have A Roadie to collide. Maddox Bale marred the David's Way in the home straight.

Maddox Bale underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Mangion, the trainer of Maddox Bale regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Maddox Bale was charged with marring. Mr. Mangion pleaded guilty to the charge, Maddox Bale is suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ruby Arizona and Maggie Pie collided soon after the start. Wayne's Way and Ruby Arizona collided soon after the start checking Hazy Rose. Wayne's Way and Ruby Arizona collided approaching the first turn. Astrolitholgy and Daisy Hill Lad collided soon after the start. Wayne's and Ruby Arizona collided soon after the start, checking Hazy Rose. Wayne's Way and Ruby Arizona collided approaching the first. Bella Patch and Wayne's Way collided approaching the home turn. Hazy Rose checked off Bella Patch on the home turn. Astrolithology turned its head outwards toward Daisy Hill Lad and visibly eased approaching the home turn.

Astrolithology underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Johnson, the trainer of Astrolithology regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Astrolithology was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Johnson pleaded guilty to the charge, Astrolithology is suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Aston Rose a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Refueled, Glory Road and Big Cam collided on the first turn. Mustered Courage and Ivy Girl collided on the home turn. Ivy Girl checked off Glory Road entering the home straight. Mustered Courage crossed out wide in the home straight.

Stride For Pride was slow to begin. You Blast and Standby Blue collided on the first turn. Ben Doon, Wendy Maria and Stride For Pride collided entering the back straight checking Wendy Maria. Big Boy Macka, You Blast and Standby Blue collided in the back straight. You Blast and Standby Blue collided on the second turn checking You Blast. Shooters Ali and Stride For Pride collided approaching the home turn checking Shooters Ali. Ben Doon checked off Stride For Pride approaching the home turn.

Ms. J. Worsfold failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Step Aside for racing.  Ms. Worsfold was issued a warning pursuant to GAR 46 (2)

Dyna Carl was slow to begin. Janray Lucky One, Stacey Bott, Winlock Jetty and Step Aside collided on the first turn checking Step Aside. Silver Compass and Jetta's Shout collided entering the back straight checking Silver Compass causing Silver Compass and Stacey Bott to collide. Winlock Jetty faltered in the back straight. Janray Lucky One and Silver Compass collided in the back straight. Secret Thoughts, Jetta's Shout and Silver Compass collided on the second turn. Dyna Carl checked off Jetta's Shout approaching the home turn.

Winlock Jetty underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right monkey muscle and and left sesamoid. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Krisbar Blue Fox and Crackerjack Tys were slow to begin. Kernel Panic and Clovally Mansumi collided approaching the first turn. Clovally Mansumi, Succession Plan and Why Not Peter collided on the first turn. Krisbar Blue Fox and Why Not Peter collided entering the home straight. Kernel Panic tired over the concluding stages of the event.

Kernel Panic underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury and abrasion to the right hind toe. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Dewana Be Sure was quick to begin. Diamond Bling, Zoe's All, Kraken Bo, Bobby Ray or Spyfection collided on the first turn. Nerve Settler, Diamond Bling and Zoe's All collided entering the back straight. Nerve Settler and Diamond Bling collided in the back straight. Spyfection raced wide in the back straight. Zoe's All, Bobby Ray and Spyfection collided on the second turn checking Bobby Ray.

Ragged Warrior underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left wrist and abrasion to the under eye area. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Bashful Boy stumbled at box rise and was slow to begin. Steel Magnolia and New Sense collided soon after the start checking New Sense. Steel Magnolia and Kraken Tan collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. My Name's Wally and Burning Express collided approaching the first turn. Lethal Levi checked off My Name's Wally approaching the home turn. Bashful Boy checked off New Sense on the home turn checking Bashful Boy causing Kraken Tan and New Sense to collide. Steel Magnolia raced wide in the home straight.

Styish Chief - Late scratching at 9:16am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mrs. W. Connell was fined $100.
