A sample was taken from Superior Uno upon arrival at the course.
Gray Grey Goose and Gold Odessa collided soon after the start. Blistering Betty checked off Winlock Homes soon after the start. Gold Odessa crossed to the inside approaching the 250m mark checking Doran's Call severely checking Superior Uno and Gold Odessa, Gold Odessa fell as a result. George Knockin' and Blistering Betty collided approaching the 50m mark checking both greyhounds.
Superior Uno underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right gluteals muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Gold Odessa underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right deltoid muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
