Steward's Report
Staggermite stumbled at box rise and was very slow to begin - 6 lengths.
Legend Rose and Input Girl collided soon after the start. Rocky Infrared crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Tinker Cass and Empowered causing Legend Rose and Input Girl to collide as a result. Kip Your Star raced wide at the 200m mark checking Rocky Infrared. Rocky Infrared, Empowered and Legend Rose collided approaching the 100m mark. Kip Your Star raced erratically at the 100m mark
Kip Your Star underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right deltoid muscle and the right quadricep muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr S. Kipirtidis, the trainer of Kip Your Star regarding its performance at the 100m mark. Taking into consideration the injuries the greyhound suffered in the event, Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Kip Your Star must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
