A post-race sample was taken from Fernando's Flare - the winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr John Chircop regarding the significant market move for the greyhound Fernando's Flare. Mr Chircop stated that in his opinion the greyhound was better than the other runners in the field and the greyhound should have won at its most recent start. Accordingly Mr Chircop did have a financial investment on Fernando's Flare in this event. Stewards noted Mr Chircop's comments. Races 7 & 8 will be evaluated by GRV's betting analysts.
