Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Mo Dragon.
Vintage Storm, Emgee Sprinter and Hagrid Grange were slow to begin.
Star Catcher and Kraken Copper collided approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.
Star Catcher underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have shin soreness to the left hind leg. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. S. Waycott trainer of Star Catcher regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. After hearing Mrs. Waycott's submissions, taking into account the greyhound's injury and all available footage, Stewards took no further action.
