Poppin' Off, Instant Bale and Al Moran collided on the first turn severely checking Al Moran and Instant Bale, Instant Bale fell as a result. Single Man checked off Mr. Rumby approaching the home turn. Bowstreet Buster and Perfect Life collided entering the home straight checking Bowstreet Buster. Bowstreet Buster raced wide in the home straight. Single Man and Mr. Rumby collided approaching the winning post.
Instant Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
