A pre-race sample was taken from Yuken Win.
Our Centurion was slow to begin.
Sam's Spolly and Heston Flyer collided soon after the start. Yukin Win and Our Centurion collided on the first turn checking Our Centurion and Sam's Spolly. Federal Express and Oshkosh Nar collided on the first turn. Federal Express checked off Oshkosh Nar approaching the home turn. Heston Flyer and Federal Express collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Sam's Spolly, Federal Express and Mister Mercury raced wide in the home straight.
Heston Flyer underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr M. Johnson, the representative of Heston Flyer and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.
