Dirty Boston and Blueflash Lenny collided soon after the start. Speedy Readie and Hurricane Craig collided approaching the first turn checking Speedy Readie. Cody's Success faltered on the first turn checking Dreamliner. Hurricane Craig and Speedy Readie collided on the home turn. Dreamliner raced wide in the home straight.
Cody's Success underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
