Victor Leone and Tight Tuesday collided soon after the start. Rapid Revenue and Inter Nick collided soon after the start. Tight Tuesday faltered on the first turn and lost ground. Lucknow Magic checked off Muza's Belle on the first turn. Rapid Revenue and Run Like Rhys collided on the first turn. Lucknow Magic, Victor Leone and Tight Tuesday collided entering the home straight. Acer and Victor Leone collided approaching the winning post.
Tight Tuesday underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected. Trainer, Mr Basile declined the option to have the greyhound a re-vetted.
Stewards spoke to Mr D. Basile regarding the performance of Tight Tuesday on the first turn. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Tight Tuesday must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
