Steward's Report
Delta's Tiara and Hurricane Craig were quick to begin. Master Zemnick and Dreamliner were slow to begin. Our Centurion was very slow to begin (4 lengths) and stumbled soon after the start.
Master Zemnick and Shy Diva collided approaching the first turn. Hurricane Craig crossed in on the first turn severely checking Master Zemnick and Shy Diva. Side Splitting and Broken Pieces raced wide on the home turn. Side Splitting crossed in, in the home straight checking Broken Pieces and Dreamliner. Master Zemnick, Shy Diva and Dreamliner raced wide in the home straight.
Shy Diva underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury and bruising to the right wrist. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Side Splitting - winner of the event.
