Market Jack and Steampunk Wolf were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Shot's Fired and Red Light Rico collided soon after the start.  Red Light Rico and Delancy Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Market Jack and Steampunk Wolf collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Delancy Bale galloped on All Show on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Red Light Rico and Bowled Underarm collided on the first turn.  Market Jack and All Show collided on the second turn checking All Show.  Shots Fired and Red Light Rico collided entering the back straight checking both greyhounds.  Market Jack galloped on Delancy Bale approaching the third turn checking Market Jack.  Steampunk Wolf and All Show collided on the third turn checking both greyhounds.  All Show galloped on Steampunk Wolf on the home turn.

Why Not Luv was slow to begin.

Shantelle Rose, Eddie Coin and Indulge collided soon after the start checking Eddie Coin and Indulge.  Boombox Charlie, Rockstar Quinn and Threaten collided soon after the start checking Rockstar Quinn.  Threaten, Boombox Charlie, Indulge and Shantelle Rose collided approaching the first turn checking Boombox Charlie.  Threaten, Indulge and Shantelle Rose collided on the first turn checking Threaten, Starry's Lad, Why Not Luv and severely checking Indulge which fell.  Eddie Coin and Boombox Charlie collided on the first turn checking Eddie Coin, severely checking Boombox Charlie and Rockstar Quinn, both greyhounds fell as a result. Starry's Lad and Why Not Luv collided on the third turn.  

Indulge underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Boombox Charlie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the hind left foot.  No stand down time was imposed.

Rockstar Quinn underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left front foot and an abrasions to all four feet.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Optimus Dusty was slow to begin.

King Gristle and Diamond Bling collided soon after the start.  Miss Bellawood and King Gristle collided soon after the start.  Miss Bellawood and Nebraska Nell collided approaching the first turn checking Nebraska Nell and severely checking Miss Bellawood which fell, causing Diamond Bling to fall.  

Miss Bellawood underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left deltoid injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Diamond Bling underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Aston Silk underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury and spike wounds to both hind feet.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Kraken Pennys, Road To Success, Yindi Girl Turbo and Shamrock Boy collided approaching the first turn checking Kraken Pennys, Road To Success and Shamrock Boy.  Hardaway Winnie crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Say Hi.  Shamrock Boy checked off Say Hi on the home turn.  Shamrock Boy and Weblec Haze collided entering home straight.  

Trainer M. Dewan requested that Shamrock Boy undergo a post-race veterinary examination, the greyhound was found to have a right sesamoid and deltoid injuries.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Mrs. Sharp crossed to the rail approaching the first turn.  Bartholomew Bale and Sunny's Kayo collided soon after the start.  Modern Icon checked off Kilpatrick approaching the first turn and collided with Noonbarra Jack.  Modern Icon, Noonbarra Jack, Bartholomew Bale and Sunny's Kayo collided on the first turn checking Bartholomew Bale, Sunny's Kayo and severely checking Modern Icon and Noonbarra Jack.  Lily Pad and Insuperable collided on the first turn.  Bartholmew Bale raced wide in the back straight checking Sunny's Kayo.  Sunny's Kayo checked off Bartholomew Bale on the third turn.  Sunny's Kayo faltered approaching the home turn and tailed off checking Noonbarra Jack.  

Sunny's Kayo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasion to both hind feet and a right hock fracture.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Modern Icon underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock sprain.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards inspected a portion of the track approaching the home turn following this event and deemed it satisfactory for racing.
