Steward's Report
Charming Charlie was quick to begin. Madalia Daisy and Golden Scar collided soon after the start. Symbol For You and Akina Ivy collided on the first turn checking Symbol For You. Golden Scar and Symbol For You collided approaching the home turn checking Golden Scar. Pedda Pal and Charming Charlie collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds. Golden Scar raced erratically in the home straight.
Golden Scar underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 3 and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards had concerns with the way the greyhound raced approaching the winning post. After taking into consideration the greyhound's injury, Stewards took no further action.
