Akina Harley and Loufie were slow to begin. Bulk Billed and Airly Spence collided on the first turn checking Airly Spence. Toby Time and Jayville Roman collided approaching the home turn. Bulk Billed and Akina Harley collided approaching the home turn. Airly Spence checked off Bulk Billed approaching the home turn. Airly Spence and True Gem collided on the home turn checking Airly Spence, True Gem and Loufie. Jayville Roman and Toby Time collided approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds. Loufie raced wide in the home straight.
Loufie underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
