Treasure's Danae underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 4. Treasure's Danae was found to have injuries to the left pencil muscle and left hip muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms P. Boots the trainer, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Treasure's Danae was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms Boots pleaded guilty to the charge, Treasure's Danae must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Bonafide was slow to begin and crossed to the outside soon after the start.

Scenic Warrior and Monty Python collided soon after the start. Glascoe Sally checked off Winlock Slim collided approaching the 200m mark and collided with Bonafide. What's His Caper checked off Superior Charry at the 200m mark. Bonafide and Monty Python collided several times from the 200m mark to the 150m mark checking Bonafide and severely checking Monty Python and Glascoe Sally. Miss Laquisha, Superior Charry, Winlock Slim and Scenic Warrior collided at the 100m mark checking Superior Charry and Winlock Slim. Miss Laquisha marred Scenic Warrior approaching the 50m mark causing Miss Laquisha's muzzle to become momentarily lodged in the greyhounds mouth.

Miss Laquisha underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right pencil muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr G. Kearns, the trainer of Miss Laquisha regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the 50m mark.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Miss Laquisha was charged with marring. Mr Kearns pleaded guilty to the charge, Miss Laquisha is suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Superior Breeze and Scott The Cash were slow to begin. 

Flash Paws, Diamond White and Supreior Breeze collided at the 150m mark. Diamond White checked off Flash Paws at the 100m mark.

Stirling Lights crossed out soon after the start checking Annihilation, From The Brink, Fuel 'Em and My Luck Mia. Alquist and Darklight collided several times from soon after the start to the 200m mark. Stirling Lights crossed out at the 200m mark checking Fuel 'Em, Alquist and Darklight causing Sonic Sensation to fall. Alquist visibly eased approaching the 50m mark. Annihilation, Alquist and Darklight collided approaching the 50m mark. Fuel 'Em and My Lucky Mia collided approaching the 50m mark.

Sonic Sensation underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right quadriceps. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Alquist underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have soreness to the left digital flexor and a spike wound to the right metacarpal. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr A. Debattista the trainer, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the 50m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Alquist was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Debattista pleaded not guilty to the charge, Alquist was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Darklight underwent a post-race veterinary examination following an incident in the catching pen - no apparent injury was reported. 

Dakora, Cracked Pepper and Ted's Dream were slow to begin. 

Meehan Pebbles and Cracked Pepper collided soon after the start. Alfie's Affair and Meehan Pebbles collided at the 300m mark. Dakora and Run Fast Bonnie collided several times from the 300m mark to approaching the 200m mark checking both greyhounds. Mr. Vinnie and Dyna Owen collided at the 250m mark causing Dyna Owen to falter and tail off. Dakora and Run Fast Bonnie collided approaching the 100m mark.

Dyna Owen underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right tarsal fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Invictus Waive was slow to begin.

Coco Baroque and Rio Hustler collided soon after the start. Lennie's Flyer checked off Coco Baroque at the 300m mark. Super Big and Rio Hustler collided at the 300m mark and again at the 250m mark. All Hollywood and Invictus Waive collided approaching the 50m mark.
