Brave Traveller crossed in soon after the start checking Pilot Pete, Let's Roll and Buck The Jockey. Buck The Jockey and Brave Traveller collided on the first turn. So They Say turned its head to the outside approaching the winning post.
So They Say underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to Mr C. Tilley, the trainer of So They Say regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) So They Say was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Tilley pleaded guilty to the charge, So They Say is suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
