Meeting Comments:

Rollin' In – In accordance with GAR 73, presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling as the greyhound was found to be injured at Healesville on 1/12/2019. Rollin' In was examined by the on-track veterinarian and found to be free from injury. Rollin' In was Cleared to race. . 

Darnum Bolt was quick to begin. 

Madalia Champ, Coalville Crash and Pack Of Jokers were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Madalia Champ checked off Madalia Daisy on the first turn checking Coalville Crash. Find The Time clipped the heels of Darnum Bolt approaching the home turn. Darnum Bolt and Find The Time collided approaching the home turn. Find The Time marred Darnum Bolt on the home turn causing Darnum Bolt to collide with Rocky Pie. Madalia Daisy, Darnum Bolt and Find The Time collided in the home straight.

Darnum Bolt – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52

Find The Time underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr R. Boyce, the trainer of Find The Time regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Find The Time was charged with marring. Mr Boyce pleaded guilty to the charge, Find The Time is suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from Madalia Champ - the winner of the event.

Madalia Brodie and Bag Of Tricks was slow to begin.

Decker and Jay Bird collided approaching the first turn. Decker crossed to the rails on the home turn checking Don't Say Do, Rockin' Richard, Parabellum and Bag Of Tricks; severely checking Decker. Decker galloped on Bag Of Tricks on the first turn checking Decker. Rockin' Richard and Bag Of Tricks collided approaching the home turn. Rockin' Richard, Madalia Brodie and Bag Of Tricks collided approaching the home turn checking Madalia Brodie. Decker raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Madalia Brodie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left flexor tendon injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Leaving – New declared weight of 32.4kgs, last raced at 34.1kgs.

Tee Tee underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Ignite The Stars underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

One Babe and Madalia Ken were slow to begin and collided soon after the start causing One Babe to fall. Madalia Ken and Timmy Tunga collided on the first turn checking Timmy Tunga.

Brave Traveller crossed in soon after the start checking Pilot Pete, Let's Roll and Buck The Jockey. Buck The Jockey and Brave Traveller collided on the first turn. So They Say turned its head to the outside approaching the winning post.

So They Say underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to Mr C. Tilley, the trainer of So They Say regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) So They Say was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Tilley pleaded guilty to the charge, So They Say is suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Kingsbrae Boof and Hurricane Billie were slow to begin. Tinderella was slow to begin.

Mahi Indian and Dava Supreme collided approaching the first turn. Tinderella checked off Duce Royal on the first turn severely checking Tinderella and Kingsbrae Boof. Hurricane Billie raced wide on the home turn.

Kroos and Flash Frankie collided on the first turn checking Jebrynah Green, severely checking Flash Frankie; Bigwig was checked as a result. Unbuckled and Flash Frankie collided on the home turn. Miss Minjee visibly eased and pulled up approaching the winning post checking Unbuckled and Ebonique.

Miss Minjee underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined  - No apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Ms K. Thorburn, the trainer of Miss Minjee regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Miss Minjee was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms Thorburn pleaded guilty to the charge, Miss Minjee is suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
