Steward's Report
Zipping Solo was quick to begin.
Free Kick Hawks checked off Sonic Lauryn approaching the first turn severely checking Aston Shaker which contacted the running rail and lost ground, checking Coughlin's Law and Barbie Jiggs. Sonic Lauryn and Catch Me Spolly collided approaching the home turn. Sonic Lauryn raced wide on the home turn and entering in the home straight. Catch Me Spolly checked off Barbie Jiggs entering the home straight. Zipping Solo and Why Not Dot collided in the home straight checking Zipping Solo.
Aston Shaker underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left elbow. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Following race 4, Stewards inspected a section of the track at the turn off the back straight after a concern was raised regarding the racing surface. Subsequently, Stewards deemed the track satisfactory for racing.
