Rosie Reigns checked off Greysynd Spectre approaching the first turn. Rock Me Lloyd checked off Raining Rainbows on the first turn causing Rock Me Lloyd to contact the running rail and lose ground. Koh Lipe and Majestic Way collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds, checking Diamond Lady and Ester Bale with greyhounds racing wide. Koh Lipe and Ester Bale collided on the home turn. Greysynd Spectre and Majestic Way collided entering the home straight. Majestic Way and Diamond Lady collided in the home straight.
Rock Me Lloyd underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a soike wound to the right hind foot. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
