Steward's Report
Layback Cruiser was quick to begin.
Chatty Garry faltered approaching the first turn and tailed off as a result. Cawbourne Get Up and Trouble Brewing collided on the first turn. Cawbourne Get Up checked off Briar Jet in the home straight. Briar Jet raced wide in the home straight.
Chatty Garry underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right hock and left back muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Layback Cruiser, winner of the event.
