The track curator advised that the track was lightly harrowed on 30 October 2019.

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Hot Weather Affected'. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 33.4 degrees and the kennel temperature was 18.3 degrees.

Volcanic Lava underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Double The Faith was quick to begin.

Why Not Jamie was slow to begin.

Maximum Molly and Call Me Silk collided approaching the first turn. Rezzie's Choice checked off Maximum Molly approaching the first turn. Double The Faith raced wide on the home turn. Call Me Silk and Why Not Jamie collided entering the home straight checking Call Me Silk. Rezzie's Choice and Maximum Molly collided in the home straight severely checking Maximum Molly.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Maximum Molly, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Toyed was very slow to begin (5L).

Aston Logic and Call Me Ian collided on the first turn severely checking Call Me Ian. Toyed raced wide on the home turn.

Call Me Ian underwent a post-race veterinary examination andwas found to have an abrasion to the left hind toe. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Dusty Hayes and Especial One were quick to begin.

River Bank was slow to begin.

Stacey Bott checked off Pirate Lee on the first turn checking Level Neville and severely checking Southern Meteor and Dusty Hayes. Level Neville and Dusty Hayes raced wide in the home straight.

Dusty Hayes underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right pectoral muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr. B. Lord failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Level Neville for racing.  Mr. Lord was issued a warning in pursuant to GAR 46 (2)

Layback Cruiser was quick to begin.

Chatty Garry faltered approaching the first turn and tailed off as a result. Cawbourne Get Up and Trouble Brewing collided on the first turn. Cawbourne Get Up checked off Briar Jet in the home straight. Briar Jet raced wide in the home straight.

Chatty Garry underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right hock and left back muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Layback Cruiser, winner of the event.

Aston Aniston was slow to begin.

Tat Nuggie, Aston Aniston, Hardaway Winnie, Night Things and Sense collided on the first turn checking all five greyhounds. Hardaway Winnie checked off Sizzlin' Sanchez on the second turn. Aston Aniston, Hardaway Winnie, Broken Pieces and Sizzlin' Sanchez collided entering the home straight checking all four greyhounds.

Dirty Max and Awesome Grit collided several times approaching the home turn. Circus Oasis, Chiseller and Valletta Sky collided on the home turn. Short Leash and Circus Oasis collided in the home straight. Chiseller and Valletta Sky collided in the home straight.

Bump's Nugget - Late scratching at 13:50 due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. G. Cowcher was fined $100.

Kraken Doll was quick to begin.

Callister was slow to begin.

Seven Enemies and Dyna Drew collided on the first turn. Callister raced wide entering the back straight. Dyna Drew and Titanium Lad collided several times approaching the first turn and on the home turn.

Weeona Gina was quick to begin.

Atlas Shiralee, Beau Herrera, Primo Beso, Titanium Bolt and Crackerjack Soc collided soon after the start checking Titanium Bolt and Primo Beso. Beau Herrera checked off Crackerjack Soc approaching the first turn checking Atlas Shiralee. Atlas Shiralee and Titanium Bolt collided on the home turn.

Sprite Halo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have split webbing to the right fore paw. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Amy Amour was quick to begin.

Southwood Ace and Cheeky Chimp were slow to begin.

Greysynd Blue was quick to begin.

Nuclear Fusion, Posterior Chain and Cinnamon Rose collided soon after the start checking Posterior Chain. Ima Rebel and Iceni Crusader collided approaching the first turn. Nuclear Fusion and Posterior Chain collided approaching the first turn. Iceni Crusader and Cinnamon Rose collided approaching the first turn. Iceni Crusader and Cinnamon Rose collided on the first turn checking Cinnamon Rose. Nuclear Fusion and Iceni Crusader collided approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight. Nuclear Fusion turned its head and visibly eased entering the home straight and marred Iceni Crusader approaching the winning post.

Ima Rebel underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right tibia. A 5 day stand dpown period was imposed.

Nuclear Fusion underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left triangle and right back muscle. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Webb, the trainer of Nuclear Fusion regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Nuclear Fusion was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Webb pleaded guilty to the charge, Nuclear Fusion is suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
