Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Keefe.
Snake Pit Lass, Just Terms and Mister Harlewood were quick to begin.
Snake Pit Lass and Just Terms collided on the first turn checking Snake Pit Lass. Bronski Beat and Unwanted Lady collided on the first turn. Keefe raced wide in the home straight. Unwanted Lady lost ground in the home straight.
Unwanted Lady underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left sartorius injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke with Ms B. Berry, the trainer of Unwanted Lady regarding the performance of the greyhound. Ms. Berry stated she was hoping for a better performance over the longer trip this evening however will now target the greyhound at events up to 600mtrs and no further. Stewards accepted the explanation of Ms. Berry and took no further action.
