A pre-race sample was taken from Selynya Teddy.
King Colt and Mepunga Maggie were quick to begin. Keeper Of Keys was slow to begin.
Debbie's Destiny and Zipping Magda collided on the first turn. Mepunga Maggie and Debbie's Destiny collided on the first turn checking Debbie's Destiny. Gwydion and Mepunga Maggie collided in the front straight. Selynya Teddy checked off Mepunga Maggie on the third turn checking Keeper Of Keys. Mepunga Maggie and Selynya Teddy collided in the back straight. Selynya Teddy veered in and marred Zipping Magda entering the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr S. Coates, the trainer of Selynya Teddy regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Selynya Teddy was charged with marring. Mr Coates pleaded not guilty to the charge, Selynya Teddy was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
