Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff, at all times.

Devel Sixteen and Busy Bella collided soon after the start.  Lava You Beauty crossed in approaching the first turn checking Mega Dossa.  Aston Nino and Mega Dossa collided approaching the first turn.  Aston Nino crossed out on the first turn checking Mega Dossa, Devel Sixteen, Bust Bella and Front Page News.  Mega Dossa and Busy Bella collided on the second turn.  Lava You Beauty lost ground in the back straight.  Mega Dossa and Lava You Beauty collided approaching the home turn checking Mega Dossa, Lava You Beauty and Front Page News.  

Lava You Beauty underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist sprain and left monkey muscle injuries.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Havana Miss and Slick Riot collided on the first turn checking Havana Miss.  Crackerjack Kane and Lady Emerald collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Mullion Mayor checked off Slick Riot on the second turn checking Havana Miss.  Crackerjack Kane and Havana Miss collided in the back straight checking Havana Miss.  Durant and Slick Riot collided on the home turn checking Mullion Mayor.  Durant visibly eased and turned its head outwards entering the home straight checking Mullion Mayor.  

Durant underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr J. Ennis, regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Durant was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Ennis pleaded guilty to the charge, Durant must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

O'Sullivan and Tiggerlong Tonk were slow to begin.

Can't Say That crossed to the rail soon after the start causing Can't Say That, Riverside Dash and Lots Of Chatter to collide, checking Can't Say That as a result.  Riverside Dash and Can't Say That collided approaching the first turn.  Can't Say That checked off Riverside Dash approaching the first turn.  Lots Of Chatter and Leon Bale collided on the second turn.  Riverside Dash and O'Sullivan collided entering the back straight.

Snake Pit Lass, Just Terms and Mister Harlewood were quick to begin.

Snake Pit Lass and Just Terms collided on the first turn checking Snake Pit Lass.  Bronski Beat and Unwanted Lady collided on the first turn.  Keefe raced wide in the home straight.  Unwanted Lady lost ground in the home straight.

Unwanted Lady underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left sartorius injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke with Ms B. Berry, the trainer of Unwanted Lady regarding the performance of the greyhound.  Ms. Berry stated she was hoping for a better performance over the longer trip this evening however will now target the greyhound at events up to 600mtrs and no further.  Stewards accepted the explanation of Ms. Berry and took no further action.

A pre-race sample was taken from Selynya Teddy.

King Colt and Mepunga Maggie were quick to begin.  Keeper Of Keys was slow to begin.

Debbie's Destiny and Zipping Magda collided on the first turn.  Mepunga Maggie and Debbie's Destiny collided on the first turn checking Debbie's Destiny.  Gwydion and Mepunga Maggie collided in the front straight.  Selynya Teddy checked off Mepunga Maggie on the third turn checking Keeper Of Keys.  Mepunga Maggie and Selynya Teddy collided in the back straight.  Selynya Teddy veered in and marred Zipping Magda entering the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr S. Coates, the trainer of Selynya Teddy regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Selynya Teddy was charged with marring. Mr Coates pleaded not guilty to the charge, Selynya Teddy was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Vivatar was slow to begin.  Jaro Bale went up with the lids and was slow to begin.  Weeona Bulldozer went up with the lids and was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Better Watch Out and Barcia Prince collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Vicatar and Submission collided entering the back straight checking Submission, Jaro Bale, Better Watch Out and Barcia Prince.  Vivatar and Weeona Bulldozer collided on the home turn checking Vivatar.  Submission and Swift Current collided entering the home straight checking Swift Current.  

Sparky Girl was quick to begin.  Weblec Haze was slow to begin.

Zipping Sullivan crossed to the rail on the first turn and clipped the heels of Sparky Girl as a result.  Jax Bale and Mrs. Sharp collided on the first turn.  Vital Force faltered on the first turn and subsequently pulled up.  Mandalorian and Sparky Girl collided in the home straight. 

Vital Force underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle and right sartorius injuries.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Rock Me Gorgeous upon arrival at the course.

Zipping Lena and Space Trucking were quick to begin.

Giggling Gerty and Golden Years collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Rock Me Gorgeous checked off Vens Revenge in the back straight checking Giggling Gerty and causing Rock Me Gorgeous to lose ground.  Golden Years crossed in on the third turn checking Giggling Gerty.  Rock Me Gorgeous and Giggling Gerty collided several times approaching the winning post.

Annie Rose was slow to begin.

Dark Arrow and Quick Income collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Annie Rose and Dark Arrow collided on the first turn.  She Zipper and Annie Rose collided on the third turn.  She Zipper and Dark Arrow collided approaching the home turn.  Quick Income and Brave Traveller collided on the home turn.  Annie Rose checked off Thistle Smoke entering the home straight.

Bingo Boon, Black Beauty and Kadalex Kid were quick to begin.  Striking Tiger was slow to begin.  Striking Tiger crossed in soon after the start checking Dewna Milkshake.  John Bell and Weeona Bont collided soon after the start checking Weeona Bont.  Reggae Mikado and Black Beauty collided on the second turn checking Reggae Mikado, John Bell and severely checking Striking Tiger, Kadalex Kid and Dewana Milkshake, causing Kadalex Kid and Striking Tiger to lose ground.  John Bell and Dewana Milkshake collided on the third turn checking John Bell.
