Steward's Report
The start of this event was delayed approximately two minutes due to Melton Harness race 6 running behind schedule.
An out of competition sample was taken from Shima Breeze, on 24 February, pursuant to GAR 79A.
Weblec Jack was slow to begin. Jaro Bale and Lucy's Milo collided soon after the start. Lucy's Milo, Wallbanger and Chun Li collided soon after the start. Lucy's Milo and Wallbanger collided approaching the first turn. Philadelphia Pip and Lucy's Milo collided on the first turn. Wallbanger, Chun Li, Zipping Clive and Weblec Jack collided on the first turn checking Chun Li and Zipping Clive. Wallbanger checked off Weblec Jack on the first turn. Jaro Bale lost ground from the third turn. Lucy's Milo and Philadelphia Pip collided on the third turn checking Lucy's Milo.
Jaro Bale was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 8. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left pectoral muscle and right calf, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
