Steward's Report
Indian Shadow and Captain Dynamite were slow to begin. Captain Dynamite and Legendary Lad collided soon after the start. Indian Shadow and Sixties Rocker collided soon after the start. Big Jo and Phantom Call collided soon after the start. Big Jo, Phantom Call and Sixties Rocker collided approaching the first turn checking Big Jo, Phantom Call, Sixties Rocker and Indian Shadow. Legendary Lad, Fernando Cazz and Twin Pick collided on the first turn checking Twin Pick and Fernando Cazz. Phantom Call, Sixties Rocker and Captain Dynamite collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Big Jo and Fernando Cazz collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds. Indian Shadow and Sixties Rocker collided on the second turn checking Sixties Rocker. Big Jo and Fernando Cazz collided on the third turn.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Ms K. Osborne regarding the improved performance of Legendary Lad in this event. Ms Osborne advised that Legendary Lad had missed the start in both its races which led to the kennel doing remedial box work. Ms Osborne added that tonight the greyhound begun well and was able to find the lead. When questioned about the expectations of both her runners, Phantom Call and Legendary Lad, Ms Osborne stated that the greyhounds have very similar ability and accordingly Ms Osborne placed a small wager on Legendary Lad due to the odds offered earlier today. Ms Osborne's comments were noted. As per routine all betting transactions on this event will be reviewed by the GRV betting analyst.
