Steward's Report
Dr.Masala – Late scratching at 4.01pm when trainer Mrs. J. McMahon reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. Stewards spoke with Mrs. McMahon regarding he circumstances of the late scratching and were satisfied with her explanation on this occasion.
Eastern Faith was quick to begin. Aston Turbine and Rapid Response were slow to begin. Eastern Faith and Timmy collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Eastern Faith and Rockin' Richard collided on the home turn checking Rockin' Richard. Rocky Pie, Top Faith and Aston Turbine collided several times in the home straight checking Rocky Pie and Aston Turbine.
