Steward's Report

A pre-race sample was taken from Fifteen Love.

Fifteen Love was slow to begin.

Gamma Bale checked off Ed Deeds approaching the first turn. Gamma Bale, Fifteen Love and Fabriola Expert collided on the first turn severely checking Gamma Bale which lost ground as a result.

Gamma Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an eye condition. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Brandyn Grenfell, the trainer of Gamma Bale regarding its performance on the first turn. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Gamma Bale must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
