Orwell Bale, Cawbourne Gout and Nevilla Bale collided soon after the start checking Cawbourne Gout. Orwell Bale and Starr Paws collided on the first turn severely checking Starr Paws which lost ground as a result. Fabriola Citrus and Nevilla Bale collided on the second turn. Orwell Bale checked off Fabriola Citrus in the back straight. Fabriola Citrus and Orwell Bale collided on the third turn. Cawbourne Gout marred Fernando Sam approaching the winning post. 

Starr Paws underwent a post-race veterinary examination was found to have injuries to the left deltoid muscle and left chest muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Cawbourne Gout underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration on the right fore metacarpal and right elbow. No stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Ms Mandy Shaw the representative for Cawbourne Gout regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Cawbourne Gout was charged with marring. Ms Shaw pleaded guilty to the charge, Cawbourne Gout is suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Fifteen Love. 

Fifteen Love was slow to begin. 

Gamma Bale checked off Ed Deeds approaching the first turn. Gamma Bale, Fifteen Love and Fabriola Expert collided on the first turn severely checking Gamma Bale which lost ground as a result.  

Gamma Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an eye condition. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Brandyn Grenfell, the trainer of Gamma Bale regarding its performance on the first turn. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Gamma Bale must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Aston Athena.

Aston Athena and Always Ho Ho were slow to begin. 

Divine Dixie and Falcon Heavy collided soon after the start. Aston Athena checked off Always Ho Ho on the first turn. Divine Dixie, Falcon Heavy, Aston Lightning and Isotope collided on the first turn checking Falcon Heavy, Aston Lightning and Isotope. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Angie Ling.

Angie Ling and Valita collided soon after the start. Angie Ling, Valita and Burner Black collided approaching the first turn checking Valita. Angie Ling contacted the running rail on the first turn and collided with Valita and Spritely Brew; all three greyhounds were checked as a result. Angie Ling and Valita collided entering the back straight. 

Angie Ling underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Sale Graze Bindi was slow to begin. 

Moonie Convoy and Come On Eleanor collided on the first turn. Spyglass checked off Steel Magnolia on the first turn. Steel Magnolia checked off Bob's Brew on the second turn. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Tiggerlong Back. 

Manny Allen and Tiggerlong Back collided soon after the start. Tiggerlong Back and Arlington collided on the third turn checking Tiggerlong Back. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Awesome Grit.

Tiggerlong Ginga went up with the lids at box rise.

Rainbow Spirit, Stareena, Tiggerlong Ginga and Alcott collided soon after the start checking Tiggerlong Ginga. Awesome Grit galloped on Tiggerlong Ginga approaching the first turn. Major Bourbski and Stareena collided approaching the first turn. Tiggerlong Ginga and Awesome Grit collided on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds which raced wide as a result. Major Bourbski and Stareena collided on the second turn. 

Awesome Grit underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury and sand toe on the right hind toe. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Tiggerlong Rebel.

Limburg Nemesis and Booralite collided soon after the start. Rockstar Brass, Lektra Style and Limburg Nemesis collided approaching the first turn. Tiggerlong Rebel, Lektra Style, Rockstar Gareth, Sunset Bourbski, Lektra Nemesis and Booralite collided on the first turn checking Lektra Style, Sunset Bourbski, Limburg Nemesis and Booralite. Lektra Style and Limburg Nemesis collided on the second turn. Tiggerlong Rebel and Sunset Bourbski collided on the home turn.

Franki Jay and Roger Express collided in the front straight.

Stewards issued a reminder of responsibilities to Mr Carmel Frantz, the handler of Franki Jay after he boxed the greyhound before being directed to do so by the starter.
