Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Lethal Hawk on 10/02/20 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Divided and Ragin' Force were quick to begin. Divided turned its head soon after the start, crossed to the rail and collided with Lethal Hawk and Bodhi's Bro Kai severely checking Lethal Hawk. Lethal Hawk was checked off Dewana Mechanic on the first turn. Divided galloped on Bodhi's Bro Kai on the first turn. Bodhi's Bro Kai and Divided collided approaching the home turn severely checking Bodhi's Bro Kai. Divided marred Mac's Secret in the home straight checking Mac's Secret.
Bodhi's Bro Kai underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
Divided underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right stopper bone. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. S. Kyriacopoulos regarding the greyhound's racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Divided was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Kyriacopoulos pleaded guilty to the charge, Divided must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
