Steward's Report
True Alpha, Aston Stealth and Flash Paws were quick to begin. Invictus Waive and Dr. Rayna collided soon after the start. Shaded Disguise and Invictus Waive collided on the first turn checking Shaded Disguise. True Alpha was checked off Aston Stealth on the first turn checking Zambora Lion. Shaded Disguise and Invictus Waive collided approaching the home turn.
A post race sample was taken from Dr. Rayna - unplaced in the event.
Prior to semaphoring the “all clear” in this event, Stewards acting in accordance with GAR 54(1) reviewed the race footage particularly in relation to the delay with the commencement of the lure run up.
After taking into consideration the time the lure took to arrive at the boxes and their observations that no runner was materially affected by the delay, Stewards declared “all clear”. Stewards spoke to the Lure Driver regarding the delay and as a result of the explanation given have referred the matter to the GRV Racing Operations Department.
