Steward's Report

Ms. Y. Andrews was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Kinloch Breeze pursuant to GAR 33.

Raglan Revolver and Patricia Maureen were quick to begin.  Jonathan's Rose and Kroos were slow to begin.  Kinloch Breeze and That Will Be collided approaching the first turn checking That Will Be.  Jonathan's Rose was checked off Buddy Blinx on the first turn.  That Will Be and Kramer Bale collided on the first turn checking Kramer Bale.  Kroos and Kinloch Breeze collided approaching the home turn.  Jonathan's Rose and Kramer Bale collided on the home turn.  Kroos and Kinloch Breeze collided approaching the winning post.

Kroos underwent a post race veterinary examination after an incident in the catching pen and was found to have a laceration to the right front leg above the elbow.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Chignell, the trainer of Jonathan's Rose regarding the greyhound's behaviour in the catching pen and directed that Jonathan's Rose race in an anti aggression muzzle in all future events pursuant to GAR 71A.

A post-race sample was taken from Raglan Revolver - the winner of the event.
