In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 31 degrees and the kennel temperature was 18 degrees.
Buddy Guy was slow to begin.
Shanlyn Haven and Shanlyn Rob collided soon after that start. Shanlyn Haven crossed wide soon after the start causing Shanlyn Haven, Shanlyn Rob, Rock Me Gorgeous and My Dewana Penny to collide. Shanlyn Haven raced wide on the first turn causing Shanlyn Haven and My Dewana Penny to collide causing Shanlyn Haven to check off My Dewana Penny approaching the second turn. Mrs. Sharp checked off I'm A Krakouer on the first turn. Buddy Guy checked off Shanlyn Rob approaching the second turn. Shanlyn Rob checked off Mrs. Sharp entering the back straight causing Shanlyn Rob and Rock Me Gorgeous to collide. Buddy Guy and Shanlyn Rob collided in the back straight checking Shanlyn Rob causing Shanlyn Rob and My Dewana Penny to collide.
