Abstract Miss, Blazing Hype and Hadarah Bale collided approaching the second turn. Hadarah Bale checked off Blazing Hype approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds and causing both to race wide. Stewards spoke to Mr L. Forte the trainer of Summer Girl regarding the greyhounds improved performance. Mr Forte stated that the greyhound was well suited to this race and after obtaining a clear run and finding the rail the greyhound was able to perform to its ability.
