Weeona Roger, Raglan Revolver and Serious Bolt collided soon after the start. Raglan Revolver and Serious Bolt collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Weeona Roger and Raglan Revolver collided approaching the first turn. Zipping Dash lost ground on the first turn. Serious Bolt raced wide in the home straight.
Zipping Dash underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported. Trainer Mr. R. Winter declined his option to have the greyhound re-vetted.
Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Winter the trainer of Zipping Dash regarding its performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71 Zipping Dash must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
