Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Steppenwolf and Reichman on 05/10/19 pursuant to GAR 79A.
An out of competition sample was taken from Revelation on 07/10/19 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Revelation was quick to begin. Consider It Done, Steppenwolf and Tech Stock collided soon after the start checking Consider It Done and Steppenwolf. Steppenwolf was checked off Tech Stock approaching the first turn. Tech Stock was checked off All Consuming approaching the first turn. Reichman was checked off Curnow Keats approaching the first turn. Rock Me David and All Consuming collided on the first turn checking Rock Me David. All Consuming galloped on Reichman on the home turn severely checking both greyhounds, All Consuming raced wide as a result. Rock Me David and Tech Stock collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds. All Consuming turned its head inwards and visibly eased in the home straight severely checking Reichman. All Consuming turned its head outwards and visibly eased in the home straight.
All Consuming underwent a post race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 8, no apparent injury could be detected.
Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Greenough the representative of All Consuming regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) All Consuming was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Greenough pleaded guilty to the charge, All Consuming is suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
