Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Sharky Shark.
Extra Speed and Bandwagon collided soon after the start. Off To Monaco, There's A Catch, Sharky Shark and Dyna Unther collided approaching the first turn. There's A Catch checked off Sharky Shark on the first turn and stumbled as a result. Bandwagon marred Off To Monaco from the second turn to the winning post.
Bandwagon was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right calf injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr P. Presutto, Trainer of the greyhound. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1), Bandwagon was charged with marring. Mr Presutto pleaded guilty to the charge, Bandwagon is suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial, (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Off To Monaco was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
There's A Catch was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
