Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Oriental Rain was slow to begin.  Silken and Mystic Rose collided soon after the start.  Well Grounded, Charlie Bale and Neymar Junior collided soon after the start.  Charlie Bale and Neymar Junior collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.  Malayah Bale and Silken collided on the first turn.  Mystic Rose crossed to the outside on the first turn.  Darra Onyx raced wide in the home straight.

Sweet Coconut was quick to begin.  Sunset Bourbski was slow to begin.  Lily Potter, Twin Pick, David Coin, According and Coconut Miss collided approaching the first turn checking David Coin and Coconut Miss.  Twin Pick and According collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  David Coin, According and Coconut Miss collided entering the back straight checking Coconut Miss.  Lily Potter and Sunset Bourbski collided on the home turn.  Twin Pick raced wide in the home straight.

Trindad Scorpion, Quan Bale, Dustification and Lilly Lana were quick to begin.  Quan Bale, Dustification and Rockstar Lincoln collided approaching the first turn.  Quan Bale checked off Lilly Lana on the first turn checking Blackpool Astro, severely checking Rockstar Lincoln.  Quan Bale fell as a result.  Fairytale Wish and Blackpool Astro collided on the second turn.

Quan Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Kilpatrick – New declared weight of 30.9, last raced at 32.5.

Steinbrenner was quick to begin.  Missy Bale and Hip Hippy Shake collided soon after the start.  Mod Squad and Extra Gear collided on the first turn.  Missy Bale and Hip Hippy Shake collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.

A pre-race sample was taken from Zipping Hamish.

Elvisa Bale stumbled at box rise and collided with Bubbles.  Wallbanger and Iago Bale collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn.  Tough Tears and Zipping Hamish collided entering the back straight.  Bubbles and Shanlyn Rose collided on the third turn.  Tough Tears, Iago Bale and Zipping Hamish collided entering the home straight.

Havana Miss was slow to begin.  Weblec Smoke, Submission and Aston Corinna collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Zipping Atticus, Weblec Smoke, Submission, Aston Corinna and Lucy's Milo collided on the first turn checking Submission, severely checking Zipping Atticus which tailed off as a result.  Giggling Gerty and Lucy's Milo collided approaching the second turn checking Weblec Smoke, in turn severely checking Havana Miss causing Giggling Gerty to fall.

Zipping Atticus was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a tear to the lateral head triceps, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Giggling Gerty was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right calf injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Who Cry Now.

Revelation, Avalanche and Riley's Paige collided soon after the start.  Avalanche, Riley's Paige and Kawhi collided on the first turn.  Who Cry Now galloped on Revelation on the first turn, severely checking Who Cry Now, checking Avalanche, Riley's Paige, Nunniong Plain and Kawhi.  Revelation fell as a result.  Riley's Paige and Nunniong Plain collided on the third turn.

Revelation was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Kawhi was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left toe, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Repercussions was inadvertently scratched by stewards at 8:49pm. TAB Raceday Operations re-instated the greyhound at the request of stewards shortly after the error was made and the event was run as advertised.

Mister Harlewood, Zipping Clifford and Ella Enchanted were quick to begin.  Mister Harlewood and Zipping Clifford collided approaching the first turn.  Blazing Cartier and Ella Enchanted collided on the second turn.  Zipping Clifford and Benali collided on the third turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Shanlyn Rob.

Razor Burn and Orwell Bale were slow to begin.  Taken, Run By Night, Akoya and Shanlyn Rob collided soon after the start checking Run By Night.  Razor Burn and Run By Night collided approaching the first turn.  Taken and Swift Current collided on the first turn.  Akoya, Razor Burn and Orwell Bale collided on the first turn.  Taken and Swift Current collided on the first turn.  Swift Current lost ground entering the back straight and tailed off as a result. 

Swift Current was vetted following the event and was found to have cramped.  No stand down period was imposed.  Acting in accordance with GAR71 (Cramp), Swift Current must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Sharky Shark.

Extra Speed and Bandwagon collided soon after the start.  Off To Monaco, There's A Catch, Sharky Shark and Dyna Unther collided approaching the first turn.  There's A Catch checked off Sharky Shark on the first turn and stumbled as a result.  Bandwagon marred Off To Monaco from the second turn to the winning post.

Bandwagon was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right calf injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr P. Presutto, Trainer of the greyhound.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1), Bandwagon was charged with marring.  Mr Presutto pleaded guilty to the charge, Bandwagon is suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial, (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Off To Monaco was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

There's A Catch was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Rockstar Gareth.

Always Ho Ho and Rockstar Gareth were slow to begin.  Shanlyn Charlott and Alamosa Bill collided soon after the start.  Always Ho Ho galloped on Shanlyn Charlott on the first turn checking Shanlyn Charlott which fell as a result.  Muzza Keeping and Rockstar Gareth collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.

Shanlyn Charlott was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
