Steward's Report

A pre-race sample was taken from Ultimate Speed.

Ultimate Speed and Vamoosh were slow to begin.

Collecting and Sonic Sensation collided approaching the first turn. Sonic Sensation and Ultimate Speed collided on the first turn. Vamoosh and Hedonistic collided on the first turn, severely checking Hedonistic, which subsequently fell; Ulitmate Speed was severely checked as a result. Vamoosh checked off Sonic Sensation approaching the home turn.

Ultimate Speed underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sorness in the right trapezius muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Hedonistic underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left latissimus dorsi muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
