Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Dale's Jet on 23 June, 2019 pursuant to GAR 79A.
A pre-race sample was taken from Covfefe.
Select Bully and Covfefe were slow to begin. Zipping Riot and Awesome Freckles collided soon after the start checking Awesome Freckles. Select Bully, Awesome Freckles and Covfefe collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Awesome Freckles. Pyrenees Classic raced wide in the home straight.
Meeting Comments:
Cullquin Daario – In accordance with GAR 73, presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling as the greyhound was found to be injured at Shepparton on 6 June, 2019. Cullquin Daario was examined by the on-track veterinarian and found to be free from injury. Cullquin Daario was Cleared to race.
Noble Weetbix – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to injury. Weighing 31.2kg and beginning from box 1, Noble Weetbix completed the 425m trial distance in a time of 24.43. Noble Weetbix placed 2nd in a field of four starters beaten by 3L. Noble Weetbix has been cleared to race.
