Steward's Report
Winlock Sunshine was quick to begin. Chantilly Mack was slow to begin.
Lektra Style, Yuken Win and Weblec Smoke collided soon after the start checking Yuken Win. Captain Jake crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Belt Up Libba, Weblec Smoke and Lektra Style. Yuken Win, Belt Up Libba and Weblec Smoke collided approaching the second turn checking Yuken Win and Belt Up Libba. Yuken Win and Lektra Style collided entering the back straight checking Yuken Win. Chantilly Mack contacted the running rail in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.
Chantilly Mack underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist injury and an abrasion to the right hind paw. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Bruce Wellington, the trainer of Chantilly Mack regarding its performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Chantilly Mack must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
