Meehan Louie and Optimus Louie collided soon after the start.  Meehan Louie and Off To Monaco collided approaching the first turn.  Dyna Wink checked off Off To Monaco on the first turn checking Winlock Thor.  Kratos checked off Winlock Thor on the first turn severely checking Gladiator which fell as a result.  Kratos, Meehan Louie, Off To Monaco and Dyna Wink raced wide on the first turn.  Meehan Louie and Off To Monaco collided on the third turn and again approaching the home turn. 

Meehan Louie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the right hind leg. No day stand down period was imposed.

Gladiator underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have shin soreness to both forelegs. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Chantilly Mack underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist injury and an abrasion to the right hind paw. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Bruce Wellington, the trainer of Chantilly Mack regarding its performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Chantilly Mack must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Khaleesi Girl - Late scratching at 1:15pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to an illness - diarrhoea. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Galaxy Blaster underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right hind paw. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Busy Bella at the Trainer’s kennel earlier today. 

Stewards spoke to kennel representative Mr T Dailly regarding the scratching of Headspace. Mr Dailly stated the greyhound appeared to be sore and unable to stretch out properly yesterday morning, and was subsequently scratched. Stewards confirmed the scratching took place at 11:46am yesterday morning and were satisfied with Mr Dailly's explanation. No further action was taken.

Koenigsegg Agera was quick to begin.  Busy Bella, Water Colour and Rocky Ravioli were slow to begin.

Rocky Ravioli underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising to the left hind over the quadriceps. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Kessler Bale checked off Winsome Express approaching the second turn.  Kessler Bale and Dyna Virion collided entering the back straight.  Dyna Virion checked off Spandau Ballet in the back straight.  Spandau Ballet visibly eased on the third turn and collided with Dyna Virion; Spandau Ballet subsequently tailed off.  

Spandau Ballet underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 10, no apparent injury could be detected.

Stewards spoke to Mr Jai Willoughby, the handler of Spandau Ballet regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the third turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Spandau Ballet was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Willoughby pleaded guilty to the charge, Spandau Ballet is suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Blusain Bolt, Kiomara, Ripplebrook Jess, Jonty Bale, Nigel Allen and Dyna Uni collided on the first turn checking Kiomara, Ripplebrook Jess, Nigel Allen, Whoomph and Jonty Bale.  Kiomara, Whoomph, Ripplebrook Jess and Nigel Allen collided in the front straight.  Blusain Bolt raced wide in the front straight.  Kiomara checked off Ripplebrook jess approaching the second turn.  Whoomph checked off Dyna Uni approaching the second turn checking Ripplebrook Jess.

Adori crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Reiko Boss, Poison Gas, Newfire Drewie and Ice Cold Yug.  Blonde Bella and Railway Burra collided approaching the first turn.  Adori crossed to the outside on the first turn checking Poison Gas, Ice Cold Yud, Blonde Bella and Railway Burra.  Reiko Boss and Hopeful collided approaching the second turn and on the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Blonde Bella and Railway Burra collided on the second turn.  Hopeful and Poison Gas in the back straight checking Hopeful.  Hopeful and Railway Burra collided approaching the third turn.  Ice Cold Yug and Railway Burra collided several times in the home straight and approaching the winning post.

Weighing 37.3kg and beginning from box 1, My Bro Lucky completed the 515m trial distance in a time of 30.974. My Bro Lucky placed 4th in a field of 4 starters beaten by 15.75 lengths. My Bro Lucky has not been cleared to race.

Hectic Bro has been cleared to race at all tracks except Wentworth Park.
