Steward's Report
Rapid Rock was quick to begin.
Go Didda Go, Young Rachel and Tayla's Banjo collided soon after the start checking Tayla's Banjo which faltered and subsequentially tailed off. Samba King and Mr. Swan collided at the 250m mark. Mr. Swan checked off Rapid Rock at the 150m mark which faltered and lost ground.
Tayla's Banjo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg quadriceps muscle injury. A 10 stand down period was imposed.
Mr. Swan underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected.
Stewards advised Mr. J. Hetherton that prior to any future nominations being accepted for the greyhound Tayla's Banjo, a veterinary certificate must be produced to the satisfaction of the Stewards stating that at the time of examination the greyhound is fit to start, pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v).
