Cullquin Bronn – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from acidosis.

Tiger Seventeen was quick to begin.  Cullquin Bronn was slow to begin.

Miss Cheekiness and Silver Sultan collided at the 250m mark checking Silver Sultan.  Miss Cheekiness galloped on Tiger Seventeen at the 150m mark checking Tiger Seventeen.  

Rapid Revenue underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind quadriceps muscle injury. A 7 stand down period was imposed.

Saw Blaze, Superior Kris and Midnight Swim were slow to begin.

Midnight Swim and Inter Rose collided soon after the start.  Alf Mulwee and Hardaway George collided soon after the start.  Saw Blaze and Inter Rose collided at the 300m mark.  Superior Kris and Midnight Swim crossed to the outside at the 300m mark.  Dirty Azzurri and Hardaway George collided at the 100m mark and again at the 50m mark.

A pre-race sample was taken from Mayhem Flyer.

Soda Ezy and Rail Remover collided soon after the start. Mayhem Flyer and Rail Remover collided at the 200m mark checking both greyhounds.

Rail Remover underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration and a split webbing to the right hind paw and a left monkey muscle injury. A 14 stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Atarah - the winner of the event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Golden Years.

Whipper's Chance and Chillin' The Fat were slow to begin.  Modern Jagger was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Chillin' The Fat crossed in soon after the start colliding with Modern Jagger.  Golden Years and Refueled collided soon after the start.  Super Fay and Jiggly Wiggly collided approaching the 250m mark checking both greyhounds.  Refueled crossed to the outside at the 250m mark.  

Rapid Rock was quick to begin.

Go Didda Go, Young Rachel and Tayla's Banjo collided soon after the start checking Tayla's Banjo which faltered and subsequentially tailed off.  Samba King and Mr. Swan collided at the 250m mark.  Mr. Swan checked off Rapid Rock at the 150m mark which faltered and lost ground.

Tayla's Banjo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg quadriceps muscle injury. A 10 stand down period was imposed.

Mr. Swan underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected. 

Stewards advised Mr. J. Hetherton that prior to any future nominations being accepted for the greyhound Tayla's Banjo, a veterinary certificate must be produced to the satisfaction of the Stewards stating that at the time of examination the greyhound is fit to start, pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v).

An out of competition sample was taken from Eureka Creek on 1st May 2019 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Burnout – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a right hock injury.

A pre-race sample was taken from Burnout.

Burnout, Murrabit Benny and Supraspinatus collided soon after the start.  Standing Bear, Burnout and Murrabit Benny collided at the 300m mark checking Burnout.  Supraspinatus checked off Murrabit Benny at the 50m mark.

Inter Joe underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind toe injury. A 14 stand down period was imposed

Scott Dynamism – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a right hock injury.  New declared weight of 36.6kg, last raced at 35.4kg.

Jupiter Jones – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a seasonal spell.  New declared weight of 33.4kg, last raced at 32kg.

Lexie's Boy checked off Scott Dynamism soon after the start.  Bowon Approach checked off Fancy Hope at the 300m mark.  

Mister Maker was slow to begin.

Galloping Flash, Shimmy Dat Ray and Cee Me Snoop collided soon after the start checking Shimmy Dat Ray and Galloping Flash.  I'm Orion, Mister Maker and Just Jimmy collided soon after the start.  I'm Orion checked off Weeona Paul at the 100m mark.  

A post-race sample was taken from Raloo Barbara - the winner of the event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Shafira.

Black In Town faltered soon after the start and subsequentially lost ground.  Shafira and Ginny Woolf collided several times from soon after the start to the 200m mark.  Billy Swagger and It's A Treat collided at the 250m mark.  Shafira, Ginny Woolf, Bluey Can Fly and Billy Swagger collided at the 100m mark.  Bluey Can Fly and Billy Swagger collided at the 50m mark. 

Black In Town underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 60 stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from It's A Treat – unplaced in the event.

New Sense - Late scratching at 10:49am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian due to left monkey muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Dee Jakit.

Pectoralis and Cawbourne Mav collided soon after the start.   Inter Helen and Dee Jakit collided at the 250m mark.  Zipping Cisco and Inter Helen collided at the 200m mark and several times to the 100m mark.

A pre-race sample was taken from Pyrenees Classic.

Courage Crest and Luna Evening were quick to begin.

Starface stumbled at box rise and was very slow to begin (4 lengths).

Luna Evening, Slipaway Bolt and Beluga Diamond collided soon after the start.  Slipaway Bolt checked off Beluga Diamond at the 250m mark.  Luna Evening and Beluga Diamond collided at the 200m mark.  Beluga Diamond and Slipaway Bolt collided at the 150m mark.  

Midnight Muscat – New declared weight of 26.3kg, last raced at 27.9kg.

All Jokes Aside was slow to begin.

Jupiter Asending and Doran's Grove collided soon after the start.  Jupiter Asending crossed to the outside at the 200m mark and collided with Midnight Muscat and Deflection, checking both greyhounds.  All Jokes Aside faltered at the 200m mark and subsequentially tailed off.

All Jokes Aside underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left tarsal hock injury. A 90 stand down period was imposed.

Meeting Coments

Haboob – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to injuries to both back muscles.  Weighing 31.3kg and beginning from box 8, Haboob completed the 300m trial distance in a time of 16.89. Haboob placed 1st in a field of 4 starters winning by 1.25 lengths. Haboob has been cleared to race.
