Kid Richard was slow to begin. Tatty Fields, Violent and Bronny Enlim collided approaching the first turn checking Tatty Fields. Violent and Sand Slide collided on the first turn checking Violent, Love Of Lauryn and Our Danny Boy. Tatty Fields checked off Sand Slide approaching the second turn. Love Of Lauryn and Tatty Fields collided on the second turn. Tatty Fields and Love Of Lauryn collided on the third turn. Violent raced wide on the third turn. Bronny Enlim and Sand Slide collided in the home straight. Tatty Fields, Violent and Love Of Lauryn collided in the home straight.
Love Of Lauryn was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to Mr M. Briganti, Trainer of Love Of Lauryn. Stewards deemed the performance of Love Of Lauryn unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Love Of Lauryn must perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, before any future nomination will be accepted. Stewards also issued a warning to Mr Briganti, regarding Love Of Lauryn's racing manners on the second turn.
